Summary:

Enerflex is looking for an innovative Commissioning and Controls Manager looking to make a difference and have a drive for success.

Reporting to the Regional Branch and Product Support Manager, the Commissioning and Controls Manager is responsible for but not limited to developing and engaging a team of specialized technicians that will offer legendary customer service to all internal and external customers, enhancing the company brand and reputation while working toward business objectives.

We seek a candidate who has a core foundation of integrity and is willing and able to use commitment and creativity to drive our organization towards success. This position is based out of the Calgary 4700 location.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Continuously improve strong internal and external customer relationships by engaging in positive, professional communications and facilitate organic growth
• Mentor, develop, and train employees; conduct annual performance reviews; support skills development goals; promote opportunities for knowledge and career growth
• Technical support for Service and Retrofit groups of specialized Enerflex product lines and Commissioning and Start-up activities
• Liase between Enerflex Engineered Systems and After-market Services by ensuring seamless handover from manufacturing to service
• Coordination and scheduling of commissioning and start-up activities (providing specialized technicians and supporting local servicing branch); assist with customer invoicing upon job completion
• Monitor costs and maintain communication throughout commissioning and start-up activities to customer, servicing branch, and Enerflex Product Support
• Assist with troubleshooting and providing plant optimization recommendations to service team and customers
• Support specialized customer needs such as emissions testing, vibration analysis and Energy Transition technologies
• Support development of commissioning plans, procedures, budgets and schedules for Integrated Turnkey / Major Projects
• Develop and monitor branch financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing annual sales and service budgets; expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Keep ahead of industry\'s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
• Actively support and enforce company HR and HSE policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of gas compression, power generation and process systems are required
• A strong Commissioning or Automation background is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills which include: ability to lead, direct, motivate and supervise team members considered an asset
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to think strategically, troubleshoot and multi-task
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient computer skills - MS Office, SAP experience considered an asset
• Travel may be required
