Description du poste

Bass Metal recherche d'un/e Commis Comptable dynamique et minutieux(se) pour rejoindre notre equipe. Le ou la candidat(e) ideal(e) aura un excellent sens de l'organisation et une grande attention aux details afin d'assurer le bon deroulement des operations comptables quotidiennes.

Responsabilites principales

Preparer et emettre les factures aux clients. Valider les bons de livraison (packing slips) pour s'assurer de leur exactitude. Faire le rapprochement des transactions de cartes de credit. Effectuer les conciliations bancaires pour garantir l'exactitude des donnees financieres. Realiser des ecritures comptables dans les registres financiers. Collaborer a la preparation et a la cloture des fins de mois. Effectuer des taches en lien avec la collection, incluant le suivi des comptes clients en retard et la relance des paiements. Assister dans la gestion des comptes fournisseurs et des comptes clients. Collaborer avec l'equipe pour resoudre toute disparite ou anomalie comptable. Maintenir a jour les dossiers financiers et les systemes de classement. Soutenir l'equipe dans d'autres taches administratives et financieres, au besoin.

Profil recherche

Diplome d'etudes professionnelles (DEP) ou collegiales (DEC) en comptabilite ou dans un domaine connexe. 3-5 annees d'experience pertinente dans un poste similaire. Maitrise des logiciels comptables (par exemple : QuickBooks, Sage) et de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Grande attention aux details et excellentes competences en organisation. Capacite a respecter les echeanciers et a gerer plusieurs taches simultanement. Habilete a travailler de facon autonome et en equipe. Bonnes competences en communication (orale et ecrite).

Bass Metal - Accounting Clerk

Bass Metal is seeking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail to ensure the smooth execution of daily accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue client invoices. Validate packing slips to ensure accuracy. Reconcile credit card transactions. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy. Record journal entries in financial ledgers. Assist in the preparation and closing of month-end processes. Handle collection tasks, including following up on overdue accounts and payment reminders. Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies or accounting anomalies. Maintain up-to-date financial records and filing systems. Support the team with other administrative and financial tasks as needed.

Profile

Diploma in Accounting or a related field (e.g., DEP, DEC, or equivalent). 3-5 years' relevant experience in a similar position. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
