Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Company Driver and Owner Operator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, effective communication skills, and experience with commercial driving and freight handling.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record Adequate knowledge of Hours of Service regulations Class 1 Driving license Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and dispatchers Experience in moving freight efficiently while adhering to safety standards Excellent organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and documentation effectively Ability to work independently and stay alert during long drives

Compensation

Compensation will be determined upon hiring.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.61-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70 per week
