We are currently seeking a Commercial Transactions Assistant to support our busy corporate and commercial law team. Responsibilities

Assist lawyers with corporate and commercial transactions, including purchases, sales and financings. Liaise professionally with clients, realtors, lenders and other key parties. Conduct Land Title Searches, review encumbrances and ensure legal accuracy. Manage file documentation and deadlines using legal software, maintaining organization over a high volume of files. Prepare reports, disbursements, and invoices in a timely manner
Qualifications

2-10 years of experience in corporate/commercial transactions or as a legal assistant in this area. Familiarity with Alberta Land Titles processes is an asset. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal practice software.
