Tire Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, particularly in tire maintenance and installation. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear and damage, recommending replacements as necessary. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tire-related tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire options, maintenance, and automotive services. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Engage in sales activities by promoting tire products and services to customers.

Experience

Previous experience in a dealership or mechanic environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installations and repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in sales within the automotive industry is a plus but not required. Pay: $27.50-$35.00 per hour
