Position Overview



We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Salesperson to increase our commercial HVAC sales efforts. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing all aspects of commercial sales including prospecting, quoting, closing, client relationship management, and project oversight to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:



Identifying Customer Needs:



A commercial HVAC salesperson must understand the specific heating and cooling requirements of their clients, which could include factors like building size, occupancy, and energy efficiency goals.

Recommending HVAC Solutions:



Based on the client's needs, the salesperson will recommend appropriate HVAC systems, components, and services, often involving a detailed understanding of various HVAC technologies and their applications.

Providing Quotes and Proposals:



This involves preparing accurate and competitive price estimates for HVAC systems and services, as well as creating detailed proposals that outline the proposed solution, costs, and timelines.

Negotiating Contracts:



Salespersons will negotiate sales contracts with clients, ensuring both parties agree on the terms and conditions of the sale and installation.

Building and Maintaining Relationships:



A key aspect of this role is developing strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients through regular communication, providing excellent customer service, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Generating Leads:



Salespersons actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels, such as networking, attending industry events, and following up on leads generated by marketing efforts.

Providing Technical Support:



They may also provide technical support to clients, answering questions about HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth installation process.

Staying Up-to-Date:



Commercial HVAC salespeople need to stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies, energy efficiency standards, and industry trends to effectively serve their clients.

Skills and Qualifications:



Strong Sales Skills:



Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.

Technical Knowledge:



A good understanding of HVAC systems, components, and their applications is crucial.
