The Opportunity



We're looking for a

Commercial Sales Representative

who is driven by a passion to serve customers, and committed to nurturing existing business while expanding accounts and hunting for new logos. In this role, you'll be responsible for engaging and growing a portfolio of commercial clients and prospects in the cybersecurity sector. You'll build and mature strong client relationships, uncover new prospects, and help connect tailored cybersecurity solutions that drive meaningful business value for our customers.





This is a hybrid role based out of our Calgary headquarters.





What

You'll

Do



As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will:


Drive revenue and margin goals across iON's cybersecurity services and solutions portfolio. Build authentic, lasting client relationships by listening closely to their needs and uncovering opportunities to serve them better. Collaborate with senior team members to design account strategies and execute sales plans. Maintain accurate forecasts, strengthen pipeline development, and ensure consistent follow-up through CRM updates. Prepare tailored proposals and presentations that clearly demonstrate

iON's value.
Support responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in coordination with the sales and

technical teams.

Partner with cybersecurity vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive, customer-focused solutions.


What You Bring



We're looking for someone who embodies our values, is driven to serve customers, and is eager to grow. Ideally, you have:


5+ years of sales or account development experience, with at least 2 years in cybersecurity or a related field. Proven ability to contribute to sales cycles and support successful deal closures. Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, and Salesforce (or similar CRM tools). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues. A customer-first mindset paired with clear, persuasive communication.
