We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated professional to join our Commercial department. This position is a dynamic blend of project management, estimating, and
sales
, with a strong focus on driving revenue through client relationships and closing deals. We're looking for a highly motivated individual with the drive to succeed in a sales-oriented environment. Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills are essential, along with proven sales acumen to identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and grow our client base.
Experience in flooring, construction, or sales is a significant asset--this role is perfect for an experienced flooring estimator with a sales background or someone transitioning into the industry with construction estimating/project management expertise and a passion for sales.

Terms: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: Salary, Commision and Bonus Depending on experience, capabilities, and sales performance - six-figure total income
Requirements:
Completion of high school
Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Valid driver's license
WHMIS certification
Bondable, basic security clearance & criminal record check
Hard hat & steel-toed safety boots
Duties:
Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
Prepare bill of material
Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors
Select sub-trade
Utilize quantity take-off procedures (experience with RFMS Measure software is an asset)
Advise on tendering procedures
Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
Read specifications
Drive sales by building client relationships, prospecting new business, and closing flooring contracts
Qualities & Skills:
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Excellent computer skills
Ability to learn industry-specific computer programs
Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Work with minimal supervision and collaborate with others
