We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for providing file management, commercial real estate transactions, and drafting & finalizing legal documents. Duties within this role are fast-paced, time-sensitive and expected to be performed with a proactive approach. Other duties include:

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES



Assuming responsibility for file and document management according to firm guidelines. Completing all aspects of the administrative duties for commercial transactions. Preparing and editing a wide range of legal documents and correspondence of a confidential nature, and ensuring high quality, accuracy, and comprehensiveness. Performing conflict searches, external searches, and processing client intake forms. Managing all incoming and outgoing mail, e-mail, faxes, and phone calls in a confidential, organized, and efficient manner. Preparing and maintaining client records and assisting in management of key clients; and Conducting online corporate searches. Requesting title searches and property surveys and real property reports. Online registrations of deeds of conveyance, mortgages, assignment of rents and releases. Other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS



Successful completion of an Office Administration program with a preferred focus in Paralegal Studies or Legal Administration. 2-3 years of related commercial real estate experience. Strong organizational skills, understanding of the importance of client relationships, willingness to take initiative, and ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment. Able to perform repetitive tasks, with keen attention to detail. Flexible, reliable and works well in a team environment; and Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
