We are currently looking to add a

Commercial Real Estate Lawyer

to our roster to support a client mandate involving large, complex real estate transactions and development initiatives.

The Engagement

Term

: Full-time (6+ months)

: Toronto

Model

: Contract via professional corporation - fractional lawyer engagement

Scope of Work

Manage acquisitions and dispositions from start to finish, including agreements of purchase and sale, approvals, easements, and licenses Support development projects such as attainable housing and long-term care initiatives Advise on expropriation matters within a TOC portfolio (new area for the client) Take ownership of files and move them forward independently, escalating when required Collaborate with the client's Director and external counsel as needed

Who We're Looking For

Lawyer with a

professional corporation

Minimum 7+ years of commercial real estate law experience Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, municipal law, development, expropriations, easements, and leases Experience handling large, complex transactions, including commercial and office building portfolios Able to work independently while integrating into a collaborative client team
