Experience and Requirements:

• Accounting Designation preferred.
• 3 years of retail/commercial real estate property accounting experience.
• Strong commercial recovery experience
• Strong experience with Yardi
• Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office Skills

• We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced Commercial Property Accountant to join our team!
• Responsible for the full cycle day-to-day commercial property accounting
• Lease administration including new lease set up, renewals, and the maintenance of all leasing activities.
• Review and generate monthly rent rolls and analyze month over month changes.
• Responsible for month-end close procedures
• Work with property management and other parties to prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Create/verify recovery rule rates for budget and forecast, including verification of prior year recovery rates.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and variance analysis for properties.
• Responsible for the keep up of year-end working paper files including the preparation of CAM and Realty Tax adjustments.
• Prepare annual CAM (Common Area Maintenance) & Realty tax adjustments and ensure accuracy and completeness of year-end final billing.
• Assist Property Managers with the resolution of tenant's CAM and tax inquiries and respond to inquiries from Management.
• Monthly bank reconciliation to ensure that financial reports and statements reflect accurate numbers.
• Coding invoices for accounts payable and ensure that expenses are being posted to the appropriate cost center and appropriate account.
• Prepare year-end packages for auditors.
• Accounts Receivable and tenant billing management.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required.
