We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Garage Door Technician / Installer (Lead Hand) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, trustworthy self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring exceptional customer service, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead by example in the field.



A Day in the Life of a Commercial Lead Hand

Each day brings variety and challenge as you:

Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors, openers, and barrier gates Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Lead by example--supporting and mentoring technicians while maintaining high quality and safety standards Perform daily duties safely and efficiently, including work at heights and physical tasks Conduct site assessments and ensure documentation is accurate and complete Participate in an emergency service rotation as required Deliver excellent customer service on every call

What You Bring

5+ years of experience as an Overhead Door Technician Comfort and experience with electrical work Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to perform duties without physical limitations Experience with electric openers and barrier gates Safe driver's abstract and clean criminal record Professional demeanor and attention to detail in documentation Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work on an emergency rotation Commitment to teamwork, learning, and customer satisfaction

Additional Role Details

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Cambridge Schedule: 8-hour shift, with overtime opportunities Compensation: $75,000-$100,000 annually Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
