Strategic Run Rate growth, market analysis, and sustainable business development in LAC and Canada. Steer commercial strategies to boost consistent sales performance (run rate) in the aviation sector, aligning with company objectives. Uncover and pursue recurring revenue opportunities within aviation, developing and enacting sustainable business tactics. Investigate market conditions and predict long-term sales trends to stabilize and increase the run rate in aviation. Analyze sales data to identify steady income streams and improve the run rate through strategic account management. Ensure robust market presence and continuous growth in run rate by leveraging aviation products and services. Cement lasting commercial relationships and contracts to maintain a steady run rate, integrating them seamlessly with aviation business processes.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management and expansion of commercial relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Create and expand relationships throughout the entire assigned territory to understand market needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Work with channel partners to develop and manage contract vehicles required to sell products to the account set.
  • Research, identify, and include new channel partners as needed.
  • Monitor, upkeep, and manage the renewal process of channel partner agreements to ensure continued alignment and performance.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the LAC Service Program Manager on service agreement opportunities and quotes, and monitor customer needs or actions.
  • Create an annual sales plan for the assigned territory, capturing all available sales opportunities.
  • Conduct all aspects of the sales process, including:
  • Prospecting and identifying potential new opportunities
  • Arranging and conducting product demonstrations
  • Participating in trade exhibitions and conferences
  • Creating quotations for customers and prospects
  • Contributing to major proposals for the account set
  • Managing the sales forecast for the account set
  • Participate in product and sales skills training as required.
  • Participate and contribute to internal sales meetings.
  • Apply sales management processes to ensure a systematic approach to managing current and future customer relationships, including sales, marketing, customer service, and technical support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Business Development, Sales, and Product Development activities by conducting feasibility analyses of potential programs.
  • Analyze and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI) in accordance with Smiths criteria for program acceptance and rejection.
  • Report program status to all stakeholders and prepare periodic status reports.

  • BS or BA degree in related technology or business management.
Experience: Requires 7 or more years\' program / project management experience.
  • Experience managing a cross-functional team indirectly.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Understanding of global business and US specific government business.
  • Ability to implement, lead, and direct program team in use of company or industry standards for program management & related processes.
  • Experience in obtaining various permits, licenses, and certifications, etc for contract requirements.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Previous experience in hardware programs, ordering materials, delivery of equipment.
  • Prefer experience working with ILS.
  • Prefer experience in Aerospace, Aviation and Defense industry.
  • Prefer experience in CNBRE.
  • Language: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Portuguese and French are preferred. Knowledge/skills/other attributes:
  • Civil Works program management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of financial concepts and measurements to program management e.g., ROI, earned value management, net present value etc.
  • Development of a PM plan, defining scope, planning, developing cost and risk plans, procurement, manufacturing, performing QC, testing, delivering product according to customer defined schedule of deliveries, and working the program through final payment.
  • Able to manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, influence people outside of direct reporting relationships (matrix organization) and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Able to use MS Office suite and MS Project.
Travel: Role may entail travel away from workplace/home up to 40% of time, including possibly overseasWork environment is typically an office environment located on-site, within the Smiths- Edgewood, MD location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment may also include customer site or other location/facility as required.
