Key Responsibilities
As the Commercial Insurance Producer, you will drive new business development and foster lasting client partnerships across British Columbia. Your responsibilities will include:

• Business Development & Prospecting:

o Proactively identify and pursue new commercial insurance opportunities through outbound sales strategies.
o Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, leveraging networking, referrals, and strategic outreach to grow your client base.

• Client Relationship Management:

o Develop customized insurance programs tailored to meet diverse business needs across industries.
o Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and ensuring clients receive exceptional service and coverage solutions.

• Collaboration & Strategy:

o Partner with internal underwriting and service teams to deliver seamless onboarding and account management.
o Contribute to business growth strategies and participate in team initiatives aimed at expanding the brokerage's market presence.

• Continuous Improvement:

o Stay current on market trends, carrier products, and industry developments to better serve clients and identify new opportunities.
o Uphold compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

• Education & Experience:

o Level 2 General Insurance Licence required.
o Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance, ideally in a producer or business development capacity.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency with insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Familiarity with broker management platforms and online quoting tools is an asset.

• Key Competencies:

o Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a proven ability to close new business.
o Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with outbound prospecting in a competitive marketplace.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to client service.
