Your Role:



As a Commercial Producer, you will play a key role in developing and expanding our portfolio of commercial clients. You'll spend time both in the office and out in the community, meeting producers, visiting local businesses, identifying risks, and offering insurance solutions that meet client needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Client Development:

Identify, contact, and build relationships with local business owners through phone outreach, in-person visits, and community networking.

Sales & Growth:

Actively grow the commercial portfolio by developing leads, conducting policy reviews, and presenting coverage options that focus on value, protection, and service (not just price!).

Risk Assessment:

Visit businesses to assess property, buildings, and equipment, ensuring all coverage recommendations meet underwriting guidelines.

Client Support:

Provide exceptional service by managing policy updates, responding to inquiries, and ensuring an easy onboarding experience for new clients.

Community Presence:

Represent Anderson Insurance Group and Co-operators in the community by participating in local events and building trusted relationships across the region.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the broader team to ensure consistency in client care, service delivery, and growth objectives.

What We're Looking For:



Full-time position based at our Lloydminster office

, with regular travel to client sites and surrounding communities.

Commercial background or experience

working in the business sector strongly preferred

2-3 years of experience

in insurance, or business development preferred.

Level 1 General Insurance License required

Must meet all provincial licensing and continuing education requirements. Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills. Must be confident engaging with new people, building relationships, and promoting insurance solutions. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working

independently

while contributing to shared team and business goals. Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve performance targets.

Must successfully complete Co-operators Canada onboarding requirements, including a criminal record check, credit check, and industry assessment.

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

required for travel to client sites. Full-time hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday

Compensation & Benefits:



Earning Potential:

Full-time employees can receive a base salary of up to

$80,000 annually

, plus commission opportunities (based on performance) that can significantly increase total earnings.
