Nacora Insurance Brokers is looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker to join our dynamic and growing team. The individual that we are looking for is an energetic, goal-oriented and self-motivated person who will be responsible for growing our commercial footprint in Ontario or Quebec. This individual will be responsible for acquiring new business by prospecting, making connections and maintaining relationships within their community. The chosen candidate will identify client needs and provide best-in-class insurance advice while benefitting from the support of our dedicated service team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Actively generate new business opportunities while managing existing accounts and supporting our teams.
- Drive business development in Ontario or Quebec by expanding the pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
- Manage policy renewals by reviewing existing coverage, assessing effectiveness, and recommending improvements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, as well as with internal partners, referral sources, and key influencers.
- Assess clients' insurance needs, identify deficiencies in their current coverage, and provide timely solutions-focused responses to their questions and concerns.
- Oversee the coordination of services across departments to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.
What we are looking for:
- An individual that is well-connected to their local business community and that is respected by local business leaders.
- RIBO or AMF license is strongly preferred. If not licensed, the ability to obtain a RIBO or AMF license within 6 months.
- Fluency in English is required. Fluency in French would be a strong asset.
- Driven, client-oriented professional with a strong enthusiasm for sales.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop and grow a profitable insurance portfolio.
- Proven talent for creating and sustaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to build trust and encourage collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders.
