Commercial Insurance Account Manager / Broker

Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
Deliver prompt, accurate, and professional service to clients via in-person visits, email, and phone
Provide insurance advice tailored to client needs and assist in securing all relevant lines of business
Prepare and process documentation, including new applications and updates to existing policies
Liaise with insurers, negotiate with underwriters, and follow up with adjusters regarding claim status
Maintain and update client information in brokerage and insurer systems
Conduct policy reviews, communicate policy changes, and process renewals
Manage daily abeyances to ensure timely and effective client follow-up
File and monitor claims, keeping clients informed of progress
Qualifications
Valid Insurance Broker License in good standing with FCNB
Minimum 3 years of experience in an insurance brokerage setting or company commercial underwriting
CAIB, CIP, or other insurance designations are considered an asset
Experience with Power Broker and Applied Ratings Systems is a strong advantage
Prior commercial insurance experience
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct
