Job Overview

We are seeking certified Commercial Hot Air Balloon Pilots to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum for 400+ hours flying 8 passenger Hot Air Balloons and be able to work in Ontario, Canada. Possess a strong understanding of Hot Air Balloon Operation principles and demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational skills. As a Qualified Pilot, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of flight operations while providing outstanding customer service to passengers. Must be able to speak English and have an Aviation English Proficiency Certificate.

Responsibilities

Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with CARs regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-flight planning, weather forecasting and flight decision making. Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition for flight. Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel to coordinate flight operations. Manage in-flight services and address passenger needs to enhance their travel experience. Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation as required by regulatory authorities. Supervise crew members during flights, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures. Utilize GIS technology for navigation and route planning when necessary. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor aircraft issues when they arise.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial pilot's license with appropriate ratings for the aircraft operated. Strong mechanical knowledge related to aircraft systems and operations. Proven customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers from diverse backgrounds. Excellent math skills for navigation calculations and fuel management. Leadership experience with the ability to supervise crew members effectively. Strong organizational skills to manage flight schedules and documentation efficiently. Multilingual abilities are preferred; proficiency in French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, or English is a plus. Pay: $34,400.00-$75,000.00 per year
