Job Description

Part time, able to work 3 to 5 hour days, every day starting ASAP until approximately November 6th.

Must possess a good work ethic, ability to learn, and ability to others, and able to get to and from work located just outside the town of Gimli.

Experience working in the commercial, fishery, or familiarity with fish is an asset. On the job training will be provided.

Possibility for permanent seasonal work on a part-time or full-time basis is available. The lake Winnipeg, commercial fishing seasons, far as follows:

Fall: early September until early November, working every day including weekends. Winter: season begin when ice is formed on the lake. Generally beginning sometime in December, working until March. Flexible schedule, more similar to a 9-to-5 work week, with the odd day worked on weekends. Spring: season begins approximately end of May, and working every day, including weekends until early July.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 28 per week
