Job Description
Job Title: Commercial Electrical Estimator (ICI).
Location: Vancouver, BC
Pay: Depends upon experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bids for commercial, institutional, and industrial electrical projects
Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine project scope
Use Accubid and LiveCount software to develop detailed takeoffs and estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify requirements
Analyze labor, material, and subcontractor costs to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
Prepare and present tender documents and proposals within deadlines
Assist with value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in ICI projects
Proficiency with Accubid and LiveCount (required)
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, drawings, and construction practices
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Journeyman Electrician certification or related background (asset but not mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: Depends on Skills and experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
