Commercial Drywall Working Foreperson

We're looking for a Working Foreperson to join our Arsenault Bros Construction team in the HRM Region

Our ideal candidate will have:

Completion of

grade 12 diploma.

Completion of a

supervisory

or

leadership

certificate is an asset. Minimum

5 years

work experience in interior systems on commercial or industrial projects. Ability to

organize

,

develop

,

communicate

, and

execute

vision, plan schedules, and daily crew goals. In-depth knowledge of construction process from material selection, techniques, and tools. Experience working in a

unionized environment

is required. Excellent

written

and

oral communication

skills and the ability to work in both

team

and

self-directed

environments.

What will you be doing:

When it comes to

safety

, you

lead by example

and set the bar for those around you by

inspiring and coaching

your team. When you are not working with the team, reading

blueprints

or doing

layout

, you will be

ordering

and

managing materials

or

scheduling

your team. You will be the expert on

planning day to day operations

on assigned projects and ensuring that

proper resources

are in place for the timely completion of work including labour, material, and equipment. Ensure

scope of work

is being completed

efficiently

company standards.
