A Day in the Life of a Commercial Customer Coordinator
As a Commercial Customer Coordinator, you are the quiet force that keeps everything running behind the scenes. Your day will focus on structured tasks such as processing orders, coordinating preventative maintenance, tracking vendor deliveries, and updating internal reports. You'll follow clearly defined processes and communicate with internal teams and external partners in a thoughtful, cooperative manner to ensure projects are completed on time and error-free.
Respond to customer requests via phone and email regarding job status and invoicing
Liaise with customers to coordinate service and installations
Confirm purchase order acknowledgments and track orders through to delivery
Schedule and manage recurring Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) appointments
Coordinate installation and service timelines with technicians and customers
Generate reports on project status, scheduling, and inventory
Monitor vendor timelines and follow up to avoid delays
Oversee collections, track annual membership payments, and manage outstanding accounts
Schedule warranty follow-ups and submit labor claims to suppliers as needed
What You Bring
A respectful, steady, and dependable attitude with a commitment to doing things properly
Experience in B2B account coordination or project support
Familiarity with warranties, supplier claims, and service scheduling
Excellent organizational skills and comfort with detailed, repeatable tasks
Ability to manage multiple systems and stay calm in a structured, high-volume environment
Strong follow-through and attention to detail
Experience working in process-driven, administrative or operational roles
