Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and countertops Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation standards and confidentiality

Experience

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners is advantageous Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
