As a
Commercial Banking Account Manager
, you will provide high-quality business advice and service to our members, helping them achieve their financial goals while supporting social, environmental, and community impact transactions. You'll manage a portfolio of business members, assess credit risk, and collaborate across divisions to source and grow impact opportunities.

A typical day would involve:
Assess, anticipate, and respond to member needs to maximize the Commercial Banking offer
Monitor assigned portfolio, identify credit risk, and recommend appropriate actions
Provide accurate and complete information to support high-quality credit applications
Source, develop, and maintain new and existing member relationships to achieve divisional goals
Collaborate across divisions to identify and grow community impact opportunities
Conduct annual reviews and monitor documentation to mitigate Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing risks
Recommend and submit sound credit applications in accordance with Vancity's guidelines

You Have:
Undergraduate degree or university level diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing business accounts and portfolios
Demonstrated experience in commercial lending
Strong skills in developing and maintaining new and existing client relationships
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of Vancity's policies, procedures, strategies, and programs
Bonus Points:
Exposure to mission-aligned member relationships and social enterprise activity
Board-level involvement or governance experience
Planning and coordination skills to develop and deliver services
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to assess risks and develop solutions
Research and analytical skills to evaluate trends and recommend actions

Pay Rate
: The base salary range for this role begins at
$85,000, plus incentive and commission-based pay
. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
