Gilbertson Davis LLP has an immediate opening for an on site broad based commercial and insurance litigation lawyer with 3 to 8 years experience to join its busy Toronto based Boutique. The successful candidate will support the practices of more senior counsel and be encouraged also to develop and assume independent carriage of files. Qualifications sought include keen writing, draftsmanship, research, and analytical abilities, an intimate acquaintance with the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure, the ability to respond quickly to the demands of a commercial and insurance litigation practice, and an enthusiasm for entrepreneurial endeavour. A marketing plan and demonstrated history of attracting work and/or a portable practice, a team oriented and "can do" work ethic directed to supporting firm marketing and administration needs are assets. Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience in range of $135,000 to $180,000 plus bonus/incentive structure. Benefits package.
