As such, we welcome talented individuals that have a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and industry experience who will contribute to the success of our One Parkland team.Position Title: Commercial Account RepresentativeTeam and Location: Commercial \xe2\x80\x93 Interior BC (Kamloops, Vernon, Kelowna)Salary: $80,000 / annumPosition Summary: Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Commercial Account Representative is an outside sales position, primarily responsible for acquiring and maintaining new accounts, with occasional retention of existing accounts.Key Responsibilities:Company Growth

  • Full accountability to achieve volume and margin sales targets for defined sales territory
  • Self-starter who will actively prospect in the field, resulting in an active pipeline of new opportunities and progressing them through the sales process
  • Strong understanding of the art of negotiations and profitability analysis processes
  • Develop and implement tactical sales plans for defined territory to ensure customer retention and growth goals for region
  • Previous product knowledge an asset
Customer Experience
  • Develop a strong relationship with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and loyalty
  • Coordinate with cross- function teams (Legal, Operations, CX, Credit etc.) allowing smooth account setup and resolving issues as they arise
  • Work closely with operations and support functions to facilitate solutions for the customer
  • Be an active problem solver and trusted advisor to our customers
  • Recommend solutions that best fit customer requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5+ years of commercial sales experience with a proven track record
  • A motivated self -starter, with good organizational skills
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, Transportation or Agriculture sales (propane, diesel or gasoline delivery an asset)
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong customer service focus is essential
  • Must be very results oriented
  • Team player attitude with the ability to spend large amounts of time in field
  • Strong computer skills (knowledge in SalesForce and Power BI an asset)
  • Willingness to travel with some overnights will be required
  • Valid Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and abstract in good standing
