COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGERThe position of Commercial Account Manager consists of working closely with an Account Executive, and Account Assistant to maintain an established book of business.This position would involve a high level or organization and customer service. Preference will be given to candidates that exhibit these qualities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews audits of policies, verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier
  • Processes and follows-up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution
  • Prepares summaries of insurance 90 days in for AE, schedules and proposals as needed for account review
  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate process of transactions and other responsibilities
  • Document work related activities with the client in an appropriate activity in EPIC
  • Maintain strong clientele relationships
Accurately record account activity; maintain account files, update account information Answer phones and assist customers with their inquiries Correspond with insurance companies to make changes, order renewals, and ensure proper coverage. Marketing new and Renewal business. Processing policy endorsements, cancellations, and new business. E-mailing clients polices, and working with the broker on file to ensure a positive client experiencePROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
  • Complies with continuing education requirements for agent licensing as well as professional designations
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current

COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Demonstrate strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of Broker Management Systems (EPIC), Docu-Sign & Client Connect
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and be efficient with verbal and written communication skills. Must also have the ability to work with others. Must have a high level of problem-solving skills.
WORKPLACE FACTORS: The position is Full Time Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Employee may be required to work an occasional Saturday shift Position requires light physical effort with frequent standing, walking and sitting, occasional lifting, carrying and repetitive motionsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma and 1-3 years of Customer Service experience, preferably in the Insurance industry Strong attention to detail is required Familiarity with Applied Epic preferred, but not required Experience with Motor License Issuing Preferred, but not required Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Word Ability to successfully handle a multitude of tasks at the same time Experience using multiple telephone linesBuilding The Great Canadian Brokerage
