JOB SUMMARY
Gifford Carr is looking to add to its Commercial Accounts team a dynamic, energic and team-oriented
Condo
Account Manager/Executive.
The successful candidate will build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with clients, insurance company representatives and team members. The Condo Account Executive must be well organized and possess the ability to prioritize workflow while working with their team to provide outstanding customer service to our clients.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Create renewal presentations and complete coverage reviews.
Maintain and exceed client expectations.
Collaborate with both Marketing and Service teams.
Respond to insurance company and/or client concerns/inquiries in a timely professional manner.
Maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, insurance company representatives and team members.
Accurately complete all applicable documentation on technology platforms.
Organize and prioritize work effectively with a sense of urgency.
Work independently and with the team
Communicate with clients including answering questions, reviewing policy changes and advising clients of the reasons recommended solutions are best for their organization
Educate clients about their coverages
Review and send client endorsements and invoices
Review and send insurance certificates
Communicate and negotiate with underwriters on the client's behalf
Source, obtain, and provide additional information requested by the underwriter
Submit claims notices to insurance companies, follow-up with clients and adjusters regarding claims status
Actively prospect new business.
Close new business opportunities to meet goal as set annually.
Up sell and cross sell additional product lines.
Set payment terms and actively collect accounts receivables.
Problem solve and overcome sales objections.
Keep current with insurer updates and changes
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience as a Commercial Account Manager
Experience working within a Condo Program or Property Management
Active RIBO license or willing to obtain within 2 months of employment
Working knowledge of Epic and Policy Works is an asset
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision
Commitment to positive team dynamic
Excellent time management and organization skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and respond to time sensitive deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
