Ryder Insurance Brokers Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Commercial Account Manager
to join our team. This role involves managing and servicing an assigned book of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional client service, and supporting marketing initiatives. This position is primarily full-time, based in our office, with part-time opportunities considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and service an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts with a focus on client satisfaction and retention
Process client requests including policy changes, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims reporting
Coordinate the renewal process by gathering and reviewing necessary client information
Conduct first-level reviews to ensure client needs are accurately addressed and met
Identify and assess routine risk exposures, advising clients on policy coverage and servicing needs
Review and process endorsements, cover notes, and certificates of insurance for accuracy and completeness
Liaise with adjusters and clients to ensure efficient claims handling and follow-up
Promote best practices and professionalism across all lines of business by leading through example
Perform other duties as required to support the team and business goals
Qualifications:
Level 1 General Insurance License required; Level 2 license considered an asset
Minimum 2 years of prior insurance experience; commercial insurance experience considered an asset
Strong client relationship management skills with a service-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a collaborative and supportive team player
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
