About the Role

The Commercial Account Associate plays a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our footprint within the commercial trade channel. This position is focused on strengthening relationships with key trade partners, increasing product visibility, and generating new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives. Acting as the primary liaison between our organization and wholesale/commercial trade partners, you will ensure our products are effectively represented, clearly understood, and actively promoted across all points of sale.

This position will report directly to the Commercial Account Manager and National Sales manager. This position operates from a remote home office and will require travel within a set territory and region. (Greater Toronto, Northern Ontario, Southern Ontario)

Key Responsibilities



Channel Engagement & Development



Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, counter staff, and sales teams. Serve as the first point of contact for trade sales inquiries and product support. Conduct branch visits, counter days, and field events to increase brand engagement. Execute direct sales initiatives with trade professionals (approximately 65% of role).

Product Awareness & Training



Deliver engaging Product Knowledge (PK) sessions and training for trade partners. Communicate the advantages, features, and applications of our product portfolio. Support new product launches through demonstrations and communication initiatives.

Lead & Project Generation



Identify and develop trade project opportunities and potential leads. Collaborate with the Commercial Account Manager and Project Manager to track activities within CRM systems. Contribute to market expansion strategies and share growth objectives.

Market Intelligence & Reporting



Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback. Provide timely insights and maintain detailed CRM records and reports.

Qualifications



1-3 years of experience in commercial sales, account management, or trade support (plumbing, HVAC, or construction industries preferred). Proven ability to build relationships and develop markets. Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in CRM systems, BI tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license with flexibility for regular travel.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
