Job Title: Commentary Tour Driver Guide - Seasonal (May 2025 to October 2025)

About the Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced driver who can expertly handle the Prevost H3-45 Motor Coach while captivating our guests with engaging commentary. As our Tour Driver Guide, you'll lead travelers on a full-day narrated expedition from the heart of downtown Vancouver to the enchanting landscapes of Victoria, BC, and the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Key Responsibilities:

Safe & Expert Driving:

Operate the Prevost H3-45 Motor Coach with precision and care, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the scenic journey.

Captivating Commentary:

Deliver informative and inspiring commentary as you navigate through dynamic routes, including the BC Ferries voyage across the Gulf Islands, and the historical and vibrant streets of Victoria. Blend practical insights with engaging narratives that bring the history, culture, and natural beauty of each destination to life.

Guided Exploration:

Introduce guests to iconic landmarks such as Butchart Gardens, China Town, the Inner Harbour, the Empress Hotel, the Royal BC Museum, and the BC Legislature. Offer helpful tips and answer questions, encouraging visitors to explore and appreciate every moment of the journey.

Customer Service Excellence:

Create a welcoming and enriching experience for diverse groups of travelers, ensuring their journey is as memorable as it is educational. Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude throughout the tour.

Qualifications:

Proven experience driving Prevost H3-45 Motor Coaches or similar vehicles. Demonstrated skill in providing on-the-go commentary and engaging storytelling while operating a vehicle. Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to connect with a diverse audience. Strong knowledge of the Vancouver to Victoria corridor, including local attractions and historical insights. Commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence. Valid Class 1 or 2 commercial driver's license with Air Brake endorsement.
