This key position within our material handling department and manufacturing facility will be responsible for operating an industrial forklift known as a 'Combi Lift'. The Combi Lift driver will move, locate, relocate, stack the raw material and finished product inventory. The operator will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and will be responsible to ensure the working order of the forklift at all times.

In addition, this position will assist with general labour duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Follow direction set by the Manager or Supervisor. Unload, load and transport inbound and outbound material and finished goods. Organize and store raw material and supplies in the designated areas within the production facility and yard. Supply production with infills and the saw / CNC department with raw and cut material for processing. Safely utilize a forklift, scissor lift and telehandler. Participate in clean-up and maintenance, as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Ability to perform various physical movements required for the job.

Requirements:

1-3 years' experience as a Combi Lift driver in a material handling based role required. High attention to detail. Previous inventory based / manufacturing experience is an asset. Overhead Crane experience is an asset. Basic knowledge of mathematics, hand and power tools and measuring implements is a strong asset.
