The candidate must:
Prior experience in the field,
Be well organized, detail oriented, reliable, and punctual.
Fluent in English
Be able to work fully on-site; remote work is not available.
Be comfortable performing the job in a manufacturing/production environment.
Responsibilities
Tasks
Match stains, paints, and finishes to customer and production specifications.
Mix and adjust colour formulas to achieve the required look and consistency.
Prepare wood and millwork surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and pre-finishing.
Set up, operate, and maintain spray booths, spray guns, and related equipment.
Apply stains, sealers, lacquers, and topcoats to parts and assemblies.
Perform test sprays and produce sample panels to confirm colour accuracy.
Inspect colour, coverage, and finish quality, and make corrections as needed.
Record colour formulas, adjustments, and production batches.
Complete touch-ups and repairs on finished parts as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free finishing area
Follow health and safety procedures and use required PPE
Communicate with production and finishing teams to meet deadlines and ensure consistency
Report equipment, material, or quality issues to the Finishing and Colour Matcher Coordinator
Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting finishing problems
