Colorist / Colourist Picture Shop
Responsibilities:
- Performs color correction services utilizing the Davinci Resolve color system.
- Ingests media into Davince Resolve \xe2\x80\x93 from Tape or file-based source.
- Imports EDL, XML and/or utilizing Scene detect.
- Color Grades material to client satisfaction utilizing all tools available.
- Renders color graded material for file-based delivery. i.e. DPX seq,
- Renders Color Graded material to Avid Unity for Data Centric Workflow.
- Understands basic editorial functions of DaVinci Resolve
- Lays off to tape from DaVinci Resolve
- Manages media in DaVinci Resolve
- Runs basic diagnostic tests within DaVinci Resolve
- Prior work experience in a post-production facility
- Prior work experience with color correction, preferably on the DaVinci Resolve system.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to work well with all levels of employees in a facility and with clients; excellent communication skills; \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude and willingness to get the job done regardless of the circumstances.
- High School education or equivalent required.
- BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
