Centennial Carstar in Summerside is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Collision Technician Apprentice!
NOW HIRING: Collision Technician Apprentice
LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Summerside
HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.
WAGES: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour + benefits. (negotiable based on experience)
THE PERFECT FIT:
If you love cars, are tired of sitting behind a computer all day and enjoy working with your hands, this may be the perfect job for you. Working with damaged pieces of precious artwork, we will teach you the secrets of how cars are repaired after a collision. Our goal is to turn you into a master of this trade by teaching you the necessary skills and compensating fairly.
APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and shows initiative
- Able to take instructions
- Organized and capable of multitasking and prioritizing
- Able to work independently
- Physically capable (standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, etc)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Prep cars for paint
- Small dent repairs
- Light body work
- Changing bolt-on parts (i.e., fenders, bumpers, etc.)
- Assist in detail bays when necessary ( Prepping for delivery..polishing etc)
- Other duties as required
