Join our dynamic collision repair team as a Collision Repair Apprentice in your second year! Duties



Assist with repairing and restoring damaged vehicles by performing tasks such as sanding, filling, and prepping surfaces for painting. Support the removal and reinstallation of auto glass, trim, and other vehicle components with precision and care. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding and soldering), and airless paint sprayers to execute repairs efficiently. Participate in sheet metal work, fabrication, and auto body repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition. Learn and apply auto painting techniques, including auto painting and auto restoration processes. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and document work performed for accurate auto estimating. Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Support vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto body detailing, and assembly work to ensure quality standards are met. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress clearly and professionally. Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications



Previous dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential! Basic mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Familiarity with MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and auto glass installation is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive repair processes including auto restoration, assembly, detailing, and vehicle maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions. Motivated self-starter with a desire to grow technical skills in collision repair.
