Position Overview:



The College Student Recruiter is responsible for promoting CMU College of Makeup Art & Design's programs and recruiting qualified students for enrollment. This role involves engaging with prospective students, parents, schools, and agents to communicate the college's unique strengths and career opportunities in the makeup and design industries. The ideal candidate will be energetic, personable, and results-driven, with strong presentation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:



Recruitment & Outreach



Develop and execute student recruitment initiatives to meet enrollment targets. Attend and represent CMU at education fairs, high school visits, career expos, and other recruitment events locally and nationally. Conduct engaging presentations about CMU programs, admissions requirements, and career outcomes. Build and maintain relationships with guidance counsellors, educators, and community organizations to generate leads.

Prospective Student Engagement



Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Conduct one-on-one consultations with potential applicants to provide program information and guidance through the admissions process. Maintain regular communication with leads and applicants to ensure timely follow-up and maximize conversion rates.

Marketing & Promotion



Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute student recruitment campaigns, both online and offline. Provide input on marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content. Support open houses, campus tours, and other promotional events.

Admissions Support



Assist applicants in completing admissions requirements and ensure all documents are submitted accurately and on time. Track recruitment activities, leads, and conversion metrics. Provide reports and feedback on recruitment trends, event performance, and market opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:



Postsecondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or sales (experience in private or post-secondary education is an asset). Strong understanding of the Canadian education sector and post-secondary admissions processes. Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends for recruitment events.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,210.00 per year
