• Understands that results are driven by our people, and is highly skilled at performance-based coaching/management, and training needs analysis
• Is a self-starter, strong negotiator, and seeks to proactively solve problems
• Can communicate well with all employees ranging from front line staff to senior management
• Is able to quickly analyze, grasp and disseminate new processes and procedures
• Has 3-5 years of leadership experience in call centers (preference given to collections and/or compliance experience)
• Is detail oriented and can ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment

What the role entails: Your role is primarily to drive results. This is done in a variety of ways including but not limited to:

• Lead, train, motivate, and mentor Debt Counsellors effectively and professionally
• Complete performance audits, and coach to results
• Ensure compliance with company and client directives at all times
• Participate in the recruitment and selection process when necessary
• Handle and de-escalate complaints
• Engage with our clients to discuss performance and remedial action where required
• Critically examine processes and offer insights for improvement
• Keep manuals, reports and administrative components accurate and up to date
