Job Description
Our client is seeking a Collections Clerk to join their team in a full-time capacity. This position supports the operations of the company by collecting past-due accounts in a manner that is professional and courteous. Responsibilities:
- Connect with customers on past-due accounts to collect payments
- Maintain professional and detailed correspondence with stakeholders
- Ensure accurate data entry to maintain running logs of correspondence and the status of accounts
- Facilitate and document any payment arrangements with customers
- Prepare files and respond to general inquiries
- 2 + years\' experience in a similar role is required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Highly analytical, problem-solver who takes initiative
