L'agente ou l'agent de developpement contribue a la realisation, puis a la mise a jour, du plan strategique de la commission scolaire concernant la thematique pour laquelle intervient; le cas echeant, se familiarise avec les differents programmes concernant le dossier auquel est affecte, evalue leur pertinence, les fait connaitre aux intervenantes et intervenants du milieu et en facilite la mise en oeuvre.
Analyse les besoins du milieu, identifie les ressources disponibles des reseaux interne et externe, consulte les intervenantes et intervenants, elabore un plan d'action, en informe le personnel d'encadrement des services et des etablissements et formule des recommandations.
Elabore et realise, avec d'autres ressources de la commission scolaire, des activites de sensibilisation, d'information et de formation a l'intention du personnel concerne par les differents programmes et activites du dossier.
Etablit et maintient des relations de collaboration avec les representantes et representants des organismes partenaires pouvant etre impliques dans les differents programmes etudies pour obtenir ou fournir des avis ou des renseignements; intervient aupres des organismes concernes pour faire connaitre les ressources et les services de la commission scolaire et des etablissements.
Represente la commission scolaire aupres divers partenaires et ressources avec lesquels entre en rapport; anime les rencontres des specialistes interesses; coordonne le travail des groupes concernes par la thematique.
Procede periodiquement a l'evaluation des activites en lien avec la thematique pour laquelle intervient; emet des commentaires, produit des rapports et formule des recommandations en vue de la realisation des activites.
Qualifications

Diplome universitaire terminal de premier cycle dans un champ de specialisation approprie.

Nature
of
the
Work
The position of project development officer encompasses, in particular, responsibility for research, analysis and development of activities based on a particular theme, such as community relations, prevention of violence and substance abuse, analysis of business training needs, organizational development, development of technological support and review of administrative procedures. The project development officer ensures the planning, coordination and delivery of an action plan related to a theme calling on the internal and external resources of the school board.

Duties
The project development officer participates in the implementation and update of the school board's strategic plan on a theme for which he or she is responsible; where applicable, becomes familiar with various programs concerning the project to which assigned, assesses their pertinence, informs those involved of them and simplifies their implementation.
Analyzes the needs of the community, identifies available resources within and outside the network, consults resources, prepares an action plan, informs management staff of services and educational institutions and formulates recommendations.
Prepares and conducts, with school board resources, awareness-building, information and training activities designed for the staff involved in the various programs and activities of the project.
Establishes and maintains relationships with representatives of partner organizations involved in the various programs studied to obtain or give advice or information; informs the organizations concerned of the resources and services of the school board and of the educational institutions.
Represents the school board in dealings with various partners and resources, conducts meetings of the specialists concerned and coordinates the work of the groups involved in the theme presented.
Periodically evaluates the activities related to the theme in which he or she is involved; makes comments, produces reports and formulates recommendations concerning the delivery of activities.

A bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialty.
