Job Description


Cold Storage warehouse Operator/Worker Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:

  • Manage and evaluate warehouse inventories, conducting regular audits and providing detailed reports on stock levels.
Product Monitoring and Cold Storage:
  • Monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP) products in cold storage, ensuring timely packing and distribution.
  • Establish protocols for products stored over a week, including escalation to supervisors for prompt action.
Space Optimization:
  • Develop strategies for maximizing warehouse space utilization, considering inventory rotation and accessibility.
Inventory Allocation and Distribution:
  • Allocate and distribute inventory effectively across designated zones, ensuring optimal stock placement for accessibility and efficiency.
Reconciliation and Auditing:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical inventory reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Cold Storage Management:
  • Oversee the management of partial and unpacked inventories in cold storage.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to ensure accurate inventory labeling and tracking.
Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect pallet information, verifying correct pallet cards and lot number labels.
  • Uphold high-quality standards in all warehouse processes and inventory handling.
Logistics Coordination:
  • Manage the logistics of receiving, storing, and timely delivery of goods.
  • Ensure accuracy in order processing, billing, and inventory deliveries.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain meticulous records and reports on warehouse operations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports for internal and external use.
Safety and Maintenance:
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe warehouse environment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of warehouse premises, identifying and addressing any maintenance needs.
Interdepartmental Communication:
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Forklift operator certificate
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in inventory management and logistics.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • At least 5 years of forklift operator experience
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 \xe2\x80\x93 55 per week Benefits:
