Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and customer-focused

Coffee Shop Manager

to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands specialty coffee and cafe service, and can confidently manage staff, inventory, finances, and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee all daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health regulations. Ensure smooth workflow behind the bar, kitchen, and front counter.

Staff Management



Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise baristas and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching. Create a positive and productive team culture with effective communication.

Customer Experience



Provide outstanding service and handle customer concerns professionally. Maintain consistent product quality (espresso preparation, food handling, etc.). Build strong relationships with regular customers and the local community.

Inventory & Ordering



Monitor inventory levels and place orders for coffee, supplies, and ingredients. Track usage, reduce waste, and ensure cost-efficient ordering. Maintain accurate stock records and manage supplier relationships.

Financial Management



Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and deposits. Assist with budgeting and cost control to meet profit targets. Analyze sales trends and make recommendations to improve performance.

Marketing & Growth



Support promotional activities, seasonal menu launches, and local events. Collaborate on social media content, loyalty programs, and community engagement. Maintain the shop's brand identity and ensure consistency across operations.

Qualifications



2+ years of experience in cafe or hospitality management (preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, cafe equipment, and food safety. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay calm under pressure. Basic understanding of budgeting, sales reporting, and inventory systems. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
