Duties

Hotel Reception

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Micros POS system for processing transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours. Uphold food safety regulations while preparing and serving food items.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
