Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh, appealing, and meet health standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
