Best Brains of Brampton Gore, a learning center, is currently hiring enthusiastic, part-time instructor to teach Coding to students ranging from 8-14 years old.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
Coding Instructor
to join our team and help shape the next generation of young software developers and/or web developers. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in
Python, Web Development, and Scratch
, along with a passion for teaching and helping kids succeed. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, patience in handling kids , and great communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong proficiency in
Python, Web Development, and Scratch.
Prior experience in coding or software development.
Previous teaching or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts to students with varying levels of experience.
Prior experience in teaching in a similar environment will be preferred.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback effectively.
Schedule:
Saturdays 10 am to 1:10 pm
Any weekday: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
