Who We Are

Code Ninjas is one of the country's fastest-growing kids' coding franchises. Kids learn to code at our center by creating their own video games, developing essential problem-solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in a fun and supportive environment. Kids love coming to Code Ninjas, and parents love watching their children build confidence and skills in coding, logic, and math, advancing through a belt system from white to black belt.

We're seeking a passionate

Coding Instructor (Code Sensei)

to join our energetic and forward-thinking team. You'll play a key role in shaping the learning experience at our center, creating a fun and safe environment where kids can thrive.

Do you have experience working with children? Enjoy teaching and encouraging young minds to explore technology and problem-solving? Are you available during the day and excited to make a difference? If so, this could be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities

Teach computer programming, robotics, and STEM-related skills to children Engage students in fun, hands-on coding and tech projects Foster a positive, welcoming, and safe learning environment Assess student skill levels and tailor instruction accordingly Perform daily opening and closing procedures Maintain a clean and organized dojo (learning space) throughout the day Provide daily updates to the management team on student progress, dojo activities, and overall productivity

Qualifications

Experience working with children aged 5 and up (e.g., coaching, mentoring, tutoring) Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Strong communication and collaboration skills Solid understanding of coding concepts and technology Interest or experience in robotics and emerging tech Energetic, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Excited to learn new technologies and help students grow Self-motivated and passionate about teaching

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
