About Techblazers

TechBlazers, an educational center specializing in robotics, programming, and 3D design, is seeking a skilled STEM Instructor to join our team. As a STEM instructor, you will primarily focus on teaching robotics courses at TechBlazers and our collaborative private school. You need to contribute Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, as well as on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

Deliver

STEM/coding-oriented

instructions through project-based learning methods such as teaching

Python, Scratch, Godot, Unity, Java, C++ and also programming competition like CCC and ACSL.

Encourage students to solve problems with the projects by thinking logically and creatively. Implement all policies and rules governing student life, inform students of reasonable rules concerning classroom procedures and behaviors, and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Assess the accomplishments of students in a variety of ways on a regular basis and provide feedback to parents and management. Research and develop new course material when required, ensuring proper documentation is maintained throughout the process.
Qualifications

Experienced with or studied in STEM-related fields such as Science, Technologies, Engineering, and Math.

Experience with programming competition teaching

Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.

Passionate about teaching and experienced in motivating children to learn and explore new ideas in class.

Previous experience with Robotics Design and Software Development is a plus.

Training sessions will be in Richmond Hill location and North York location.

This is a part-time position with a salary ranging from

$26.00 to $40.00 per hour,

for qualified candidate, it can be converted to full time. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm and every weekend, and the work will be conducted in person.
