Job Description

The

Program Manager - CodeHER

plays a critical role in leading the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the CodeHER program. Working closely with the STEM Curriculum Lead, and Facilitator. The Program Manager oversees program delivery, ensures curriculum alignment with learning objectives, and creates an engaging, supportive experience for all participants.

This role requires strong program coordination, youth engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills to ensure the success and growth of the CodeHER initiative.

Time Commitment:

10 hours per week volunteer to paid in 3 months (20 hours a week)

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Delivery



Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the CodeHER program. Collaborate with the STEM Curriculum Lead to ensure curriculum content aligns with program goals and participant needs. Oversee and facilitate program sessions, fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Monitor program timelines, deliverables, and outcomes to ensure high-quality execution.

Curriculum Support & Quality Assurance



Support the refinement of age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans and activities. Provide feedback to instructors or facilitators to maintain instructional quality and consistency. Adapt program content as needed based on participant feedback and engagement levels.

Marketing & Outreach Coordination



Partner with the marketing and outreach teams to support participant recruitment and program visibility. Represent CodeHER at community events, school visits, and outreach initiatives. Support relationship-building with community partners and stakeholders.

Administrative & Financial Oversight



Track program attendance, participation, and outcomes. Assist with monitoring program budgets and ensuring responsible use of resources. Contribute to program reports, evaluations, and impact assessments. Assistance with grant writing

Collaboration & Communication



Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth program operations. Provide regular updates to leadership on program progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

QualificationsEducation & Experience



Experience in program management, education, youth development, or curriculum coordination, preferably within STEM or technology-focused programs. Familiarity with coding concepts or technology education is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies



Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Passion for youth empowerment and culturally responsive programming. Creative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented. Comfortable using digital tools for program delivery, data tracking, and communication.
