:Position SummaryReporting to the Guest Services Shift Manager, Coat Check Attendant is responsible for providing coat check services to guests of the casino. Provides great experiences and memories for guests through pleasant greetings and interactions. Must also be knowledgeable of the Casino and surrounding areas and amenities to answer guest questions. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. This role must contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino New Brunswick\'s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.Key Accountabilities

  • Greets guests in a mature, pleasant and professional manner
  • Provides great experiences and memories for guests in all interactions
  • Collects and hangs guests coats and bags on the hangers provided and provides a coat check ticket to guests.
  • Returns the correct items back to the guest when the coat check ticket is returned
  • Finds ways to play; you are serious about work, without being serious
  • Chooses to make everyday a great day
  • Stays focused in order to be there
  • Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent working experience;
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and communication skills;
  • Must be people-focused and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service;
  • Proactive and solution oriented with a drive to succeed;
  • Demonstrate strong initiative, active listening and teamwork skills;
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team;
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Work Environment Considerations
  • Regular casino environment, sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
