At Coach Canada, safety, reliability, and service excellence are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking professional Coach Drivers to operate line run and charter services (no sightseeing routes). This role is vital in connecting passengers to the people and places that matter most, while upholding the highest standards of safety and customer care.
Coach Driver Responsibilities
Safely operate motorcoaches on scheduled line runs and charter trips across Ontario and beyond.
Ensure full compliance with MTO, DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.
Provide professional and courteous service to passengers, including:
+ Assisting with luggage handling.
+ Supporting accessibility needs (e.g., wheelchair securement, mobility assistance). Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, completing all required logs, reports, and documentation with accuracy.
Apply knowledge of travel times and distances between terminals, customer sites, and charter destinations to support efficient and reliable scheduling.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route updates and passenger needs.
Coach Driver Requirements
A valid BZ driver's license in Ontario (required).
A clean driver's abstract and proven strong safety record.
Excellent knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
Minimum 2 years of professional commercial driving experience. Preference will be given to candidates with motor coach driving experience from a reputable company.
Strong knowledge of road safety, transportation regulations, and trip planning.
Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to handle long-distance and extended-duration trips.
Professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to passenger safety and comfort.
